Kidepo valley national park is located in the north eastern part of Uganda on the border of Uganda and Sudan. The park measures a distance of 1,442km square kilometers and also boasts of a great number of animal species than any other park in Uganda. Game viewing is far the best with lots of game like the bush duikers, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, lesser kudus, buffalos, jackals, antelopes, bush babies and lots of game.
The park also boasts of great hiking adventures with beautiful sceneries of the lamoj mountains with a short drive from the headquarters, the kanangorok hot springs which are located 11km from Kidepo river valley which are a fantastic spot to visit great photographic views of the lions on ant hills, the other spots not to be missed is the Narus valley in the south west of the park with great of hyenas, leopards and a vast number of wildlife. The nature walks also lead you to the Karamajong community in their manyata huts, traditional karamajong wears, spears, arrows and the bows from their home steads can be a captivating moment for all those looking for African cultural safaris.

On your arrival, you will be met by the guide from Arrive Africa Safaris, and you will be taken to your hotel, depending on your time of arrival, you may also decide to rest for a day after the long flight or engage in a city tour in Kampala which is the capital city of Kampala, you might get a chance to visit many tourist attraction including; namugongo martyrs shrine, kasubi toms, gadaffi mosque, owino market, and many more.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kitgum
After having breakfast, we set off from Kampala/ Hotel and we head north towards Kitgum town which is about 452km, the journey takes us through the busy traffic jammed town which was badly affected during the 1980s Ugandan civil war. We shall stopover in Luwero town for a couple of fruits and then continue through Nakasongola district which is a largely populated area with open savannah grasslands. Have lunch in Gulu and we then continue to Kitgum where we check in at Boma Hotel for an overnight.
Day 2: Game Drives in Kidepo National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, we set off for a 2-3 hour drive to Kidepo National park through, Kakwanga, Loitanit Villages and finally enter the park, we shall relax at the lodge/ UWA bandas, lunch and then we arrange for an evening fully parked game drive. Return in the evening for an overnight in Apoka Lodge/UWA Bandas
Day 3: Game Drives in Kidepo National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive in the park, were you will view many animals including; the lions, elephants, giraffes, bird species, buffalos, and many more. You will have a lunch break as you prepare for an evening game drive with in the park. Return later and check in Apoka Lodge/UWA Bandas
Day 4: Departure from the park
Have an early morning breakfast, and after proceed for a game drive in the park where you will be able to view the animal species that you would have missed out on the previous game drives, have lunch and check out of the lodge as you drive back to Kitgum
Dinner and overnight at the Boma Hotel.
Day 5: Airport transfer
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Gulu town for 2 hours where we have our lunch and later continue to Kampala arriving late in the afternoon
