Itinerary

Day 1&2: travelling to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game drive and Boat safari

Start the tour from Kampala for Queen Elizabeth NP driving to the southwest of the country and cross the Uganda Equator. This spot is a very famous place for taking some pictures. Also you can be able to buy a souvenir from craft shops around. You will then continue to the Park arriving for an evening game drive.

This morning you will have a game drive along Kasenyi track where you will see  animals like different reptiles (snakes, crocodiles), large groups of hippos, buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, but also to smaller mammals like antelope, warthogs, giant forest hogs, topis, bushbucks and hyenas . If you drive through Ishasha, the tree climbing lions will be seen lazing up on big fig tree branches as the day goes by.  A host of primate species like baboons, red tailed monkeys and the famous chimpanzee also roams the territory of this park.

You will then return to the Hotel for lunch. The afternoon has for you a spectacular boat on Kazinga Channel where you will see various amazing bird life and different types of wild animals as they come to the lake banks to drink water or as they enjoy sunbathing.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking/Departure to Kampala

This day after you have had breakfast, Go for chimpanzee trekking after your tour guide will drive you back to Kampala lunch en route to the Entebbe airport or to your Kampala hotel.

Expectations

AA Safaris will take you on a wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth national park, home to many wildlife species including the  African buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, giant forest hog, warthog, Nile crocodile, African bush elephant, African leopard, lion, and chimpanzee. It is home to 95 mammal species and over 500 bird species. You will have a chance to enjoy several game drives to see all this wildlife as well as a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel to view many animals including the buffaloes, hippos, birds and many more.
